Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 large ripe banana mashed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • Sliced bananas for topping
  • Honey or maple syrup for serving

Instructions
 

  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Prepare the Wet Ingredients:
  • In another bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Combine the Mixtures:
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing for fluffy pancakes.
  • Cook the Pancakes:
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve:
  • Stack the pancakes on a plate, top with sliced bananas, and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
